Mining Industry NL is currently seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for three (3) Board positions:

  1. Director – Exploration (1 position)
  2. Director – Service and Supply (2 positions)

Key Director Responsibilities

  1. Directors shall hold office for a three (3) year term following their election.
  2. A Director may serve one additional term upon ratification by the Board of Directors.

Board of Director Eligibility Requirements
The membership of the Association is subdivided into the following categories:

(a) Mineral Resources Companies
Partnerships, limited partnerships, joint ventures, syndicates, sole proprietorships, companies, or corporations directly involved in resource development or production.

(b) Exploration Companies
Partnerships, limited partnerships, joint ventures, syndicates, sole proprietorships, companies, or corporations directly involved in resource exploration.

(c) Service and Supply Companies
Partnerships, limited partnerships, joint ventures, syndicates, sole proprietorships, companies, or corporations indirectly involved in resource exploration, development, or production.

(d) Other Members
Individuals and entities not qualifying as Service and Supply Companies but wishing to belong to the Association. This includes, without limitation, public/educational institutions, prospectors, and individuals. Note: Members under this category are non-voting members of the Association.

📆 Term: 3 years (with the possibility of one reappointment)

🔍 Desired Expertise:

  • 💰 Finance & Accounting – CPA, CA, CFO, or CEO experience in financial accounting and reporting
  • 🏛️ Corporate Governance – Board leadership, policy, compliance, strategic oversight, non-profits, or industry associations
  • 🏛️ Legal & Regulatory – Compliance background to address liability and complex legal environments
